West, MS
Denise and I traveled up old Hwy 51 on our last trip back from camp and went through the little town of West, MS.
Its' glory days are gone but it was neat and clean. All the old store fronts had been painted and kept and the old depot looked brand new.
We were very impressed with what we saw.

That's nice. Did ya'll get anything done at camp this weekend? Dead hogs etc? The river being high, figured they are running amuck.
If you were in West and didn't get a burger at the West Truck Stop you missed a treat. Preston doesn't cook them any more, but they are still the best burger between Jackson and Memphis.
