Water Valley, MS> I did not make the camp this weekend and of course there is some major BREAKING NEWS from there that I will post on later.Jones managed to screw the Masters up somehow this week. It was too cold to play golf so I spent my time in front of the fire watching the tournament. It ended pretty well with a new champion. Congratulations to Zach!
They have protesters this year. I missed the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteYou know special arrangements had to be made to allow me to go to the masters. Lawrence Perkins, one of my oldest friends set up the whole trip. I am still puzzled as to why he asked his US deputy marshall friend to go with us. Oh well, Gus Jones is one nice fellow for a G-man. I just don't know why I was always assigned designated driver duty. It was also nice that I made it thru security both days, and Gus didn't even have to pull his badge. I got to watch Zach practice up close. All the golfers were impressive, However he seemed extremely relaxed and chatted with the crowd a great deal. He seemed like a deserving fellow to break thru on a major.
