The 250 lb. buck feel almost right under my stand. I moved the boat down to within ten yards, slid him in and up the lake I went, whistling all the way.
I brought Erin and Sarah up to see the deer and then we loaded him on the Gator.
Getting back to camp, everyone had to count the antlers and the size ranged from 7-11 until Denise got there and decided it was 14. I, of course, agreed with her.
There were over 30 people in our little camphouse that day and Wow! it was crowded. Needless to say, Burney, Paul and Trent were doing their best to get back in the woods to hunt while I tormented them the best I could. Will post more pics and what happened later tomorrow.
