Spencer and Burney have been involved with an elaborate trap to get those damn hogs. You dig a post hole in the ground as deep as you can, fill it with corn, then pour a grape or soda drink over it and let it ferment. The hogs are supposed to go crazy for it. We will see. And the pistols?, I don't know what is up with that.

Rex, that post hole trick is supposed to be the ticket. Can't do it here in CA, but heard great things about it from my Texas friends.
As to the pistols... everyone knows a real hogslayer has to have a hand cannon. When things get sketchy in the thick brush and the hogs get unruly, it's the best way to shoot your partner in the thigh to better effect a getaway.
