A Salty Undertaking

Dad and Trent have gone crazy. They are worried about the poor starving deer. Those varmints seem to be doing OK in my book, but those two have decided what we need are mineral/salt blocks to supplement the poor things at this time of year.
They have purchased 10 salt blocks to scatter around the property to do this.
I have a feeling that the hogs will really enjoy them.
Hey Phillip! Will hogs come to salt blocks? Anybody?

Hide and watch! You won't even have to hide. Almost any animal needs salt and blocks are easy ways of getting it. The hogs won't destroy them however. We used to put out salt in loose form in the hog troughs and they only ate what they needed. Those were domestic hogs however.

I've heard that they'll come to the salt, but I have yet to actually see it happen.

That corn, on the other hand... you'll have some fat, happy hogs down there soon.
