I think Blogagog may be onto something here.
Ahh... that was just mean.
I think Rex is just sandbagging on us here. He's got Thunderhoof staked out somewhere in the back of beyond, probably behind one of those haunted trees. As the last minutes of the season wane away, a final shot will ring out across the Christmas Place, and a yell of victory will echo through the swamps and hills.
