I open the door and my dog, Camo jumps out, The giant buck, Thunderhoof, is waiting with his big tongue hanging out ready to go play. They stare at me and I tell them hell no I am trying to get some sleep! Leave me alone! This time of year it is impossible to get a good night of sleep at the camp. Stupid Dog! Stupid Deer!

LOL, that Thunderhoof sounds like one cool deer! My old dog, Bear, used to do the same at camp. He and this one old doe had a date everyday at 4:30 PM. About 4:00 he would lie down and wait for her to cross our camp clearing so that he could chase her. She never let him down and like clockwork appeared a the end of the clearing stopped and looked right at him like she knew he would be there. Then off they would go. Thank goodness he would only chase her a short way and then he would strut back to camp as if to say, "I showed her who was boss of this place". We lost Bear in 2000 and he's buried up at Camp Chicken under a huge maple tree.
