Late Season Pics and Thoughts
Permafrost, MS> Late season pics and thoughts. Here is the young 8-point that Burney took with his muzzleloader the last weekend of the season. A nice deer that he thought was bigger. Prety good with a muzzle-loader though. It has been a long and strange season.
Dad and Wilbur had a great time exploring the place and getting after the ducks last week. Spring is coming and the famous Christmas Place is extremely beautiful then.
Our good friend and neighbor, Paul Jones, came by during the bitter cold and talked about deer hunting, hogs, poachers and the situation on Hillside Refuge. He don't like these damn people tromping around all year.
I swore that I was not going to do it, but Mark Stewart sent me $100 so I will.
Here is another picture of Drew (the clueless) and the big deer that he managed to take by sheer dumb luck. Not that I am jealous or anything.
