The Treasure Tale

Many people wonder about the stories I tell on this site. Many are made up but a lot of them have the truth mixed in with them. The other question is, how did you come up with this story or that tale? Growing up I read a lot of books. Tom and Huck, Hardy Boys, White Fang, Treasure Island, and about any adventure story I could get my hands on. One day I ran across a reference to a story by Edgar Allen Poe that stated he was the greatest and maybe the first original writer of the Buried Treasure Story.
I finally found the elusive story and it is one of the best. Please take the time to go and read The Gold Bug

I believe I read this story quite some time ago. I read quite a lot of Poe for a while.

Don't quite remember the details of the story though. Guess I'll have to go read it again.
