Vicksburg Bound!

This weekend, Denise and I are headed to Vicksburg. We are going down to visit Marian and Bob. We plan to look at the beautiful Antebellum homes, sip a drink while watching the river roll past, explore the battlefield and gander at the U.S. Ironclad, The Cairo.
Marian wants to take us over and show us her hunting camp. That would be a lot of fun. We want to eat out and maybe ease over to the Casino too. It should be a long and tiring weekend, but a very fun one too.
When I was growing up, a great song was sung about Jackson. It's not Fargo or Vicksburg but the feeling is the same.

Sounds like a good time. Take some good pictures of the old homes. Those are always fun to see.

And, also, what Matt said.

Hope you have a nice weekend and please say hello to Marian for me. Johnny Cash is one of my favorite country singers. Some years back I traveled trough Vicksburg, I loved the look of the old town with the old houses. To me America proper is south of the Mason–Dixon Line, I love it down south. :)

My Great Grandpa almost got himself captured in Vicksburg. The restored Union ironclad is worth the trip there! Have fun!

My mom and one of my sisters were born in Vicksburg. Nice town - hope you had a good time and didn't lose all your money.

Enjoy it man. I went to vicsburg in High school, on a chool trip. They were just starting to dig that ironclad out of the dirt when we were there. Nice place. Enjoy.

Love the line where he says "all those women gonna make me, teach em what they don't know how". Love it.
