My Corner of the Blogosphere

Water Valley, MS> I got up this morning and checked the police blotter from Augusta, GA to see if Old Scratch had been arrested and dragged off to the clink. No news.
Then I decide that maybe I ought to post a pic or two about my little town in rural Mississipi. Looking down Main Street. The mural celebrating the beginnings of Water Valley as a Railroad town. the Casey Jones Museum in the old Depot. My office facing the City Park.

Rex, you do not know how much I envy you… I would love to live in a town like yours but unfortunately I live in a big and disorganized city

you have an invitation to come visit here or at the famous Christmas Place. Let me know.

Cool pictures. Take and post some pictures of Oxford next time you're up there.

A few of my favorite spots include The Gin, Stockard Tower, the Square and, of course, Vaught Hemingway. Not sure if the first two are still there but pretty confident in the other two.

Whew, I'm tired. That was a lot of walking and driving. Got to see most of the great players up close. They're pretty good. Enjoyed watching Gary player practicing for his 50th. Got to see Arnold heading to the media center to do an interview wearing his green jacket. Will have many photos soon.
