Blogging North Dakota

Grand Forks, ND> My friend Eric (Goon) is blogging from the state of North Dakota. He has his finger on the pulse of the prairies. Political commentary, hunting, he is a NASCAR and hockey nut. He is at Goons' North Dakota Redneck. He also has posted a very fun golf joke that gave me a good laugh. He is the only hunting blogger I have found up there. Hope he will let us know about the pheasants and his deer hunts in the area.

I guess I am a NASCAR fan, have been in a NASCAR fantasy league for the past three seasons, but I am more of a dirt track kind of guy, Love the World of Outlaws, 2006 points champion Donny Shatz is the man.

Sad day hunting season is over in ND.

Here is the million dollar question. When did deer season begin? Do you guys only get 2 weeks like we do up here on the frozen tundra? One of my wife relatives moved to Georgia and he said some guys shoot deer quite a bit longer than they do up here, and many of them.

Primative weapons, bows and black powder?

That brings back fond memories of the time when I lived in Illinois. It’s the same there. Oct 1st. to January 15th bowhunting season with two 4-day breaks for gun season. 4 to 6 deer bag limit. A bowhunters paradise. How many deer can you harvest in Mississippi? A friend from Tennessee tells it’s 7 to 8 in the Volunteer State.
